SCHIZOPHONIC

Schizophonic is a live 'electronic' project from Bangalore which incorporates sound design, visual media and movement art into

its performances. Musically, the band draws on any influence or style, ranging from Delta Blues, Soul, Funk and Jazz to the more

contemporary sounds of Dub, Drum 'n' Bass and Hip Hop.

Schizophonic comprises of three musicians and a visual artist who compose and perform original music and

can interface with most other forms of digital media over wired or wireless networks. The visual component of

The band is a cinematic rather than effect-based and is written into the music as an active element wherever

possible.

When circumstances allow, the band likes to take over the performance space completely, using different

materials and structures to construct visual installations that breathe and move with the music
